Idalia Ramos

Vice President and Deputy Director

Idalia Ramos became Vice President and Deputy Director of the PBS Foundation in December 2018. She is responsible for directing the operations and infrastructure of the Foundation, including its grants management and communications.

Previously, Idalia spent almost 14 years at the American Psychological Foundation, part of the American Psychological Association, ultimately serving in the Chief Operating Officer role beginning in 2012. Idalia held various roles at Grantmakers for Effective Organizations and DDB Bass and Howes earlier in her career.

Idalia holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s in public policy from George Mason University. She currently lives in Oakton, Virginia with her husband and two “PBS Kids.”
