Elizabeth Gillette

Elizabeth Gillette joined the PBS Foundation in 2024 as Senior Director, Principal Gifts. Based in Chicago, she is responsible for securing significant philanthropic investments for PBS and its programs.

With 25 years of fundraising experience, Elizabeth spent more than half her career at Lincoln Park Zoo leading the annual, major and planned giving teams and successfully closing the zoo’s $143M Pride of Chicago Campaign in 2020. In addition, she sustained key funding for the zoo’s multi-million-dollar annual operational needs, community education and wildlife conservation and research initiatives. Prior to the zoo, she served in leadership fundraising roles for independent schools and in the healthcare industry.

Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in organizational development from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Lake Forest College.

She lives in Winnetka, Illinois with her husband and daughters.
